Observance of the Day --- Fourth Sunday after the Epiphany

Collect: (prayer for intentions designated for this particular Sunday of the church calendar, as specified in the Book of Common Prayer; it may align with the designated scripture readings) -- Almighty and everlasting God, you govern all things both in heaven and on earth: Mercifully hear the supplications of your people, and in our time grant us your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Scripture --- [Selected from the Eucharistic Lectionary for Year B, Revised Common Lectionary] -- Psalm 111: 2-3, 9-10 -- Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practise it have a good understanding. His praise endures for ever. [The other readings from the Revised Common Lectionary are as follows.]
